The volcano continues to produce strombolian activity.

The last explosive eruption occurred from its crater on 23 September at 03:50 local time accompanied by ejected scoria to several hundred meters distance from the summit.
An ash plume rose approximately 2,600 ft (800 m) above the crater drifting westward.
The local volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 21 mm and a duration of 50 seconds.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows and lahars could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater.
