A phase of intense activity at the volcano has continued during the last 24 hours.

The PVMBG volcano institute registered through surveillance cameras eight vulcanian explosions at irregular intervals at 16:29, 21:38 local time yesterday and 01:33, 04:45, 05:46, 10:09, 15:17 and 16:54 local time today.
Grey ash columns erupted from the summit vents to an altitude in range between of 2,120 m and 2,720 m and drifted into N-NW.
The lava flow continues to be active on the northern slopes.
