The explosive eruption at the volcano continues.

The activity is dominated by near-constant, sometimes vigorous vulcanian-type eruptions. A powerful event occurred from its summit crater on 25 August in late evening. An increasingly spectacular grey ash-rich column rose about 4 km above the vent and drifted northwest.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 4 km distance from the crater.
