Several powerful explosions occurred at the volcano over the past few days, otherwise the eruptive activity continues at generally moderate levels.

The Centro Nacional de Prevención de Desastres (CENPARED) recorded quite vigorous eruptions that happened in the mornings of 26 and 27 February.
According to the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington, spewed grey ash columns rose to 5,8 km and 6,7 km height and dissipated towards the north and southeast, respectively.
Additionally, 51 minutes of low amplitude volcanic tremor have been recorded yesterday.
