The strong eruptive phase at the volcano continues.

A series of larger-than-usual explosions took place from the volcano over the past week including the vigorous one generating several pumice-and-ash flows.

Ash columns spewed to estimated heights varying between 12,000 ft (3,700 m) and 20,000 ft (6,100 m) that extended to the N, NE and Sw of the volcano.
