A strong eruption took place from the summit vent at about 10:30 local time yesterday as reported in social media by observers suggest, this detail was also confirmed by the VAAC Washington.

A plume of ash rose to an approx. altitude of 23,000 ft (7,000 m) and drifted north.
A satellite image from 12 February shows that elevated surface temperatures in the summit crater were observed.
The alert level for the volcano remains at "yellow".
