 The explosive eruption of the volcano continues characterized by vulcanian activity from the summit crater.

A strong explosion was observed by SERNAGEOMIN's surveillance cameras on 6 January at around 19:44 local time sending an ash column to 5400 m height.
A night-time glow is being observed at the summit crater.
