The explosive eruption at the volcano continues.

Already snow-caped Popocatépetl erupted yesterday morning with remarkable ash-gas rich plume along degassing.
The plume rose to an altitude of 21,000 ft (6,400 m) and drifted NW.
The seismic station registered 41 minutes of volcano-tectonic tremor and one earthquake with magnitude M 1.4.
The alert status for the volcano remains at "yellow".
