 Thermal sources are not only energy needs as direct but also including important role on some production matters!!!(You are right!Where,a chapter as  source volatility requires some criteria conditions for "energy needs as direct"...But,you have not disadvantages on weakness of such a criteria.At this perspective,I can summary that expressed as  "one-way" for future of  handling on "maximal range" focused thermal energy sources  of geophysical exploration methodologies at  especially harsh geologic lands.You are right!I especially emphasize some chapters as secondary production chapters with great supplies established of climatologic advantages on annual scale!!!
