An explosion at Ibu produced a dense grey ash plume this morning at 08:55 local time, which reached approx. 7,000 ft (2,100 m) altitude and drifted south.
The local volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 27 mm and a duration of 60 seconds.
